Education
Our mission is to create, facilitate and maintain educational programs that equip, expand and inspire local youth, as well as international visitors.
- Sponsorship and financing to continue education past 6th grade
- Tutoring programs for local curriculum; focus in reading, writing, math
- Arts and expressive activities for self- and social-development
- Sports and fitness programs for health, socialization and fun
- Culturally-relevant job training and skill building programs
- Permaculture and ecology classes and training on local flora, fauna and produce
- Life skills courses including: nutrition, hygiene, sanitation, budgeting, school, job applications and interviews, ethics and overall personal growth
- Parental classes on the importance of fundamental child care, focusing on child psychology and how to implement healthier practices in providing a child with the necessary tools to navigate through the world of youth and adulthood
